Altman has since moved to buttress his responsible AI credentials, <a href=\"https:\/\/openletter.svangel.com\/\">including the signing of an open letter<\/a> pledging to develop AI \u201cto improve people\u2019s lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Critics, however, remain unconvinced by Altman\u2019s show of responsibility.
