Sam Altman\u2019s ouster and return to OpenAI <br \/><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p> <small class=\"credit\">Shutterstock<\/small><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.computerworld.com\/article\/3711221\/turmoil-at-openai-raises-concerns-about-genai-s-future-rapid-advance.html\">ouster of Sam Altman as CEO of OpenAI<\/a>, which sparked the modern era of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infoworld.com\/article\/3689973\/what-is-generative-ai-artificial-intelligence-that-creates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">generative AI<\/a> when it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.computerworld.com\/article\/3710293\/openais-chatgpt-turns-one-year-old-what-it-did-and-didnt-do.html\">launched ChatGPT<\/a> a year earlier, was the tech industry shocker of the year.
